The Coastal Sediment Quality Index (CSQI) shows the overall sediment quality (metals and organic substances) for a number of measurement along the Ligurian coast.

B   Overall CSQI (© Andrea Picollo)
Sanremo shows a remarkably good overall performance, while Porta Santa Teresa has serious problems.

C   Metalli (© Andrea Picollo)
For the sub-index on heavy metals, Sanremo is again on the top. The worst values are registered at Cornigliano.

D   Organic substances (© Andrea Picollo)
Manarola has the lowest values for organic substances, while again Porta Santa Teresa "leads" the ranking from the other end.
