Welcome to the Dashboard Collection!

This page shows a number of indicator sets that have been translated into the Dashboard format.
For each of them, you have three choices:

1. Click the set's title to see an interactive site offering access to all data but with a limited set of features (i.e. pie charts, maps and distributions only)
2. Click into the preview image to see non-interactive sample views of all features, including maps, scatterplots, time series etc.
3. Click on the icon at the end of the description to install this set straightaway. This option gives access to an amazing set of features but will work only if the Dashboard is already installed on your PC (click here for instructions).

Enjoy - and don't hesitate to contact us for comments, suggestions, questions, and particularly if you have an own dataset that you want to translate into a Dashboard (see Create a Dashboard: the Manual).

Millennium Development Goals Indicators Dashboard
The Millennium Development Goals Indicators Dashboard is an attempt to show how the official UN Millennium Development Goals set could be used for assessing progress, or lack of progress, towards Sustainable Development.

The MDG data have been compiled by the United Nations Statistics Division. Please bear in mind that such databases often do not reflect the latest state-of-the-art, especially for OECD countries. Our objective was a good country coverage, and a close match to the MDG "Roadmap", and often accuracy had to be given a lower priority to reach this goal.

Please note that aggregation of indicators to overall indices, as presented here with the MDG Dashboard, is still controversial. The authors believe that aggregation can greatly enhance communication with non-expert audiences. However, the indices presented here are NOT endorsed by those who bear official political responsibility for the MDGs.
