The
project was developed jointly by Statistics Denmark and Statistics Finland, the
former focusing on the issues related to indicators, the latter on basic data.
The
"indicator" part was carried out by Harald Hoest-Madsen from the Unit for
Energy and Environment Statistics at Statistics Denmark.
The
"basic data" part was carried out by Marianne Kaplas assisted by Tuija-Tiina
Jaarvilehto from the Unit for Environment Statistics at Statistics Finland.

was kindly provided by international organisations such as the International
Energy Agency, International Atomic Energy Agency, European Environment Agency,
International Peat Association and Oslo and Paris Commissions as well as
